All MMark company vehicles are fueled with bio-diesel fuel.  Bio-diesel is slightly refined vegetable oil that can run in any
diesel vehicle with little modification.  The vegetable oil can be virgin or purchased at your local market, but can be
easily obtained from restaurants.  Most restaurants are happy to give you their used vegetable oil; it saves them
the money they would usually have to pay to dispose of it.  You then put it in your own small refinery and add
some elements that remove the glycerin and lower the viscosity, and you have bio-diesel fuel.  The homemade
fuel can mix freely with regular petro-diesel from a gas station whenever needed for convenience or long
trips.  The cost for the additives is between $0.50 and $0.75 per gallon.  The oil is free to those who are
willing to get it from their local restaurant owners.  The average person would get back the initial cost of the
refinery in less than a year, or even a month or two, from the monies saved by using the bio-fuel.  It will
depend on how much you pay for the refinery.  Refineries range in price from a couple of hundred dollars, to
$3000 for a high quality one, all the way to $7000 if you don’t want to put any effort or time into it at all.

Bio-diesel is entirely domestic, supports farming, it's totally renewable, often recycled, and it cuts diesel engine
emissions by 50-75%.  You will experience about a 5% decrease in power versus petro-diesel, but your exhaust
smells better and is better for the environment, and it’s actually easier on your engine because it has a higher lubricity.  It is
a bit more sensitive to the cold than petro-diesel, but this can be corrected with cold weather additives or by mixing in a little petro-diesel.  See below for more information.  It can save you thousands of dollars per year and you will feel good too!
